Holly Bancroft joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2024. She is board certified in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatric Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Holly became a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the State of Texas in 2023. She completed her graduate studies at University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. She completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Holly found her love for psychiatry working as a charge nurse in inpatient psychiatry at Cook Children’s Medical Center. While pediatric psychiatry will always hold a special place in Holly’s heart, she enjoys working with individuals of all ages. Holly has experience in various levels of care from outpatient psychiatry, partial hospitalization programs, and assisted living facilities.
Holly approaches each patient with curiosity and empathy, understanding that each patient’s journey is unique. Holly holds a holistic view of mental health, believing that medications, therapy, and lifestyle modifications all work together to help patients achieve optimal healing and growth.
