Michelle Forgey joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2020. She attended Liberty University for her Masters of Arts in Licensed Professional Counseling. Michelle received her first counseling license in 2015 in Indiana and her License as a Professional Counselor in Texas in 2017. She is also a Registered Play Therapist. She has previous experience working in a number of therapeutic settings including: an intensive residential program, in-home services, online services, and private practice. In addition, she has vast experience in working with families of all types and shapes including but not limited to: foster families, adoptive families, blended families, and traditional families.
Michelle strives to create a safe and loving environment free from any judgment to help bring healing. She believes in looking at the whole person recognizing that each individual and family is unique. She works to be creative in her interventions and empower clients to find their voice.
