Our Mission:

CCFAM believes everyone should have the opportunity for support on life’s journey. Lasting change can happen by being heard, being valued, having the opportunity to heal from past experiences and relationships, and making decisions based on personal values and priorities.

 How We Are Unique:

  • Accept Most Major Insurance Plans
  • Evening sessions available on Tuesday and Thursdays
  • 10 counselors on staff to meet counseling needs for you and your family in one location (Individual, Parent Guidance, Marriage, and Family Sessions)
  • Our counselors are employees with a common mission, purpose, and values

Length of counseling:

  • Change should begin to occur in 4-6 sessions
  • Determine with counselor the frequency needed for appointments based on goals and needs
  • Average number of sessions is 10-14
  • Frequency of sessions decreases once needs have been met and new patterns are in place
  • We accept insurance to provide long-term support if needed on your counseling journey

Unique Approach for Parents and Child/Teen Sessions:

  • Meet with the parent for the first appointment (for children 12 and younger)
  • Meet with parent and teen for the first appointment (for children 13 and older)
    • Gather information on background, current issues, and needs of child/teen
    • Determine impact on daily life
  • Meet with your child/teen for the 2ndand 3rdappointment
    • Build a relationship
    • Require feedback through a portal message for the child/teen’s counselor to know impact on daily life and needs
    • Entire time devoted to your child/teen when they have an appointment
  • Review a treatment plan and goals with parent (without child/teen present) for the 4thappointment
    • Give resources to parent
    • Give suggestion to implement at home
    • Parent chooses 1 of 3 options of Intervention
