Becky joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2024. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University, and then went on to receive a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. She received her License as a Professional Counselor in 2008 and became an LPC-Supervisor in 2024. Becky is also a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® Practitioner, a model used for working with children who have experienced trauma and their families. Becky began her counseling career working as a counselor for a non-profit agency specializing in foster care, adoption, and family preservation, and then worked as an Intervention Counselor in elementary, middle and high school settings.

Becky seeks to foster a therapeutic atmosphere of felt safety, acceptance, and trust through the relationship between counselor and client. Becky is passionate about walking with clients on their life journey and helping them process difficult situations, learn new skills, and become the best versions of themselves.
