24 Mar Celebrating 19 Years of Healing, Growth, and Connection
Looking Back While Building Forward
Nineteen years ago, I founded CCFAM with a simple but deeply held vision: to provide counseling that fosters healing, growth, and stronger relationships while remaining grounded in Christian faith, aligning with our values, and fostering clinical excellence. What began in 2007 as a counseling practice has grown into a trusted, family-focused practice serving individuals, children, couples, and families at every age and every stage of life.
Where Meaningful Change Happens
Over the years, I have been continually reminded that meaningful change happens through relationship. Whether someone walks through our doors struggling with anxiety, grief, trauma, marriage challenges, parenting stress, or life transitions, the goal is the same: to support improved well-being, equip with tools for lasting growth, strengthen communication and connection, and make care accessible in ways that fit real life.
A Practice Culture Rooted in Faith and Professionalism
I am deeply grateful for the strong practice culture that has developed at CCFAM—one rooted in faith, compassion, and professionalism while prioritizing our commitment to serving families well. From flexible in-person and virtual appointments to broad insurance partnerships, our desire has always been to reduce barriers and extend quality care to our community.
Strengthening Clinicians to Strengthen Families
In 2012, that mission expanded through CCFAM Training, equipping clinicians across multiple states through practical continuing education, supervision, and consultation. In 2021, Play Therapy Training Resources was launched to strengthen effectiveness and confidence in the playroom. Together, these organizations reflect my belief that when we strengthen clinicians, we strengthen families.
Building What Lasts
As we look ahead, my focus is on continuing to build upon the firm foundation that is steady, sustainable, and aligned with who CCFAM has always been. Our long-term vision includes expanding access through additional Fort Worth–area locations and developing a co-op employee-owned model that allows this work to be shared, stable, and strong for generations to come. It is not about growing quickly, but about building something lasting and faith-driven that continues to serve our community well.
