Angelica joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2022. She earned her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Texas Woman’s University in 2014 and her Masters in Social Work from University of Texas A&M Commerce in 2015. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2021. Angelica is EMDR Trained for working with trauma. She is also trained in Emotion Focused Therapy for working with couples. Her previous experiences includes working with children and adolescents with grief and loss of a loved one. Angelica worked with individuals and families as a Director for Social Services for a Palliative and Hospice agency. She has also worked in various levels of care such as Inpatient, ICUs, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs that serve adolescents and adults.
