Angelica joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2022. She earned her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Texas Woman’s University in 2014 and her Masters in Social Work from University of Texas A&M Commerce in 2015. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2021. Angelica’s previous experiences includes working with children and adolescents with grief and loss of a loved one. She also worked with individuals and families as a Director for Social Services for a Palliative and Hospice agency. Angelica has also in various levels of care such as Inpatient, ICU’s, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs that serve adolescents and adults.

Angelica values a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients, as this is a crucial aspect of the healing process and is particularly attuned to creating safety in the therapy room. Her approach is to support each client’s unique needs in their healing process. Angelica has a special interest in the areas of grief and trauma and recognizes from her own personal experiences the need for support along life’s journey.
