Ashley Hardy

My name is Ashley Hardy, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I am new to Fort Worth, but a Texas native! I have a BFA in Dance Education from Texas State University. I spent the last 10 years as a high school dance team director as well as a dance studio manager teaching kiddos ages 2-18. While I loved my time in the dance industry, I felt there was something missing in the work I was doing. This led me to pursue psychotherapy (counseling) where I obtained my Masters of Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

When I am not with my clients, you can find me exploring new places with my husband, playing with my fur baby, Tucker, spending time with family and friends, reading and working out.

My Counseling Approach

CCFAM Staff Ashley Hardy

I believe the role of a counselor is to guide individuals toward their personal destination, supporting them as they navigate the complexities of life. My passion lies in helping others by taking a holistic approach—addressing the mind, body, and spirit. Regardless of the challenges that bring a client into counseling, my priority is always to provide a safe, empathetic space where they can openly share their struggles and pain.

I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Sand Tray Therapy, and Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). ETT focuses on resolving the underlying emotional distress that often drives behavioral, cognitive, and physical symptoms, offering lasting relief by addressing the root causes of emotional pain.

I believe that God is the ultimate Counselor, and it is my sincere desire to be used by Him to guide others through seasons of difficulty and struggle. Whether or not faith is a part of your journey, you will feel comfortable as we work together to collaboratively pursue meaningful goals in your counseling experience. I look forward to walking alongside you in your path to healing and transformation.
