BECKY  EVANS

Hello, I’m Becky. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings a warm, collaborative presence to my work with clients. I grew up in Crowley, Texas, and joined CCFAM in 2024 with a deep desire to support people through some of their toughest seasons. I earned my Bachelor of Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University.

Outside the office, I’m an avid reader who loves spending time with my husband and kids. As a coach’s wife, I spend many evenings and weekends cheering from the stands at football and baseball games. I also enjoy exploring the Magnolia district (and especially love Ellerbe Fine Foods!), Grapevine’s Main Street, and the shops and restaurants in Old Town Burleson.

My Counseling Approach

I strongly believe the relationship between client and counselor is the most important factor in a successful counseling experience, so I appreciate you taking the time to learn a little about me to see if I might be a good fit. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008 and have spent my counseling career working with children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings. I am passionate about being a safe, supportive person for my child and teen clients, as well as helping parents learn different ways of supporting their children who are struggling.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and relational, rooted in the belief that real change begins with a strong therapeutic connection. I strive to meet you exactly where you are, creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, accepted, and actively involved in your own growth. My counseling style is open, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore your current challenges, understand how you got here, and identify the steps that will help you move toward the healthiest version of yourself.

My hope is that you feel understood, supported, and encouraged when you work with me. I want you to feel validated in where you are today while also feeling empowered to take steps toward where you want to be. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful work in counseling, and I’m honored to walk with you as you pursue healing, clarity, and growth.
