Miriam joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2024. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in general studies with a minor in Psychology in 2010 and pursued another Bachelor’s degree in 2012 in Psychology, both from Nicholls State University. Miriam earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Nicholls State University in 2017. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana in 2020 and in Texas in 2023. Miriam’s previous experience includes working as crisis counselor, with adults diagnosed with substance abuse, and as a school counselor in elementary schools.
Miriam strives to create a supportive environment for clients for a lasting impact through life’s challenges. She is passionate about working with children.
