Clarissa Webb joined the Center for Counseling and Family Relationships in 2023. She holds dual Master of Arts degrees in Christian Counseling, specializing in Licensed Professional Counseling and in Marital and Family Therapy, from Oral Roberts University. In 2016, she obtained her License as a Professional Counselor in Oklahoma and became a Registered Play Therapist in 2017. She earned her certification as a National Certified Counselor in 2022. Upon relocating to Texas, she obtained her secondary state License as a Professional Counselor in 2023.
Clarissa’s professional training includes a specialization in play therapy, level one Theraplay® training, and foundational Traumaplay™ training techniques. She has developed expertise in incorporating innovative and expressive play therapy methods into counseling sessions. Her experience revolves around working with children, adolescents, and families, utilizing child-centered play therapy and Theraplay®-based techniques to facilitate transformative change, promote health, and enhance overall well-being.
Clarissa fosters a nurturing and accepting environment for growth while prioritizing the development of safe and trusting therapeutic relationships. She is dedicated to assisting children and families in expressing their needs, feeling heard, discovering their potential, and gaining the empowerment to achieve their goals.
